Propane Tank Sales and Leasing

Acme leases and sells high quality ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) propane tanks made by American Welding or Trinity Industries…both long-established, respected tank manufacturers.

We stock 120 gallon horizontal and vertical above ground tanks and both above ground and underground tanks in 250, 500 and 1000 gallon sizes. We are well-versed in underground tank installations and use extra-large protective magnesium anodes on all of our underground tank placements.

Standard "User-friendly" Lease (available on above ground tanks) Requires that the customer be on automatic propane delivery service from Acme. The standard lease has the lowest initial cost for tank installation. There is a yearly rental charge for the tank and the per-gallon price for propane is initially higher then the per-gallon price charged to customers that own their own tanks. There is also a minimum yearly purchase requirement.

The "user-friendly" feature of the lease is that, after the customer has purchased a set number of gallons of propane, the per-gallon price for propane goes down to the price paid by customers that own their tanks and stays at that low price for as long as the customer is on automatic delivery service.

One-payment Lease…An Acme Exclusive! (available on above ground tanks.) Requires that the customer be on automatic propane delivery service from Acme. The customer makes only one lease payment (which is a little over half the price of purchasing the tank) and gets the lower per-gallon propane price (normally only charged to customers who own their own tanks) right from the start. There are never any more lease payments. If there is any problem with the tank or its fittings, Acme will take care of it at no charge. There is a minimum yearly purchase requirement.

Tank Purchases…(Available on both above ground and underground tanks) When you purchase your tank outright, you can buy your propane from anyone you like and there is no minimum yearly purchase requirement. The disadvantage is that the initial cost for the tank is higher and you are responsible for any problems that might arise with the tank and its fittings.

Underground Propane Tanks (only available for purchase) Acme can either do the whole installation or will work with your excavation contractor for the excavation, tank bedding material and backfill.
